I received an email which has lots of links, but most of the links don't work on my Mac (OS 10.3.9) but they work fine on my PC at work. I find this strange, would be happy to forward the email so you can see it it works on your machine. FWIW I can download PDFs fine from those links, but the links which link to websites don't work, it you see what I mean. Presumably it's to do with the html with which the email is written, I know nothing about such things but am trying to help the sender..
Thanks,
Michael

Windows 10 mail will not open hyperlinks embedded in the email. When you click on a web link in a mail message, it's Windows - not the Mail app - that is supposed to invoke the default browser and ask it to open the URL. If this isn't happening, there's probably a problem with your default program settings. Apple Product Documentation. Never miss an email. When you add your email accounts (such as iCloud, Exchange, school, or work) to Mail, you get all your emails in. Open System PreferencesiCloud and unclick the checkbox beside Mail to disable it. Once this process completes, click on the box to turn Mail back on, and close System Preferences.
My Apple Mail Won't Open
I have minimised a mail viewer window to the dock. Uninstall install macos sierra.app. When I click the Mail icon (to the left of the dividing line) it does not bring the viewer window up. I have to click on the actual viewer window (to the right of the line) to see the window and mail messages. This is new, reverts to normal if I close mail and restart, but soon reverts.
